Let's celebrate life at the One Life LA this Saturday onelifela.org
Happy New Year!!! Today the Church celebrates Mary Mother of God. Reflection from homily at Mass, today's Gospel Luke 2:16-21 where shepherds visit the newborn Jesus is similar from Sunday's Gospel Luke 2:41-52 where Jesus at age 12 is lost and found in the Temple, Gospels say "And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart." Let's do the same and reflect on what we did and did not do or what occured in our life the past year and strive for the spiritual interior peace, joy, hope, love and faith (these gained in our relationship with God, connection through prayer). Let's not look in the wrong places (horoscopes and fortune tellers). Only look to God the giver of life and all the blessings that we receive. God Bless you in the words of God (Bible in book of Numbers 6:22-27) "God said to Moses, this is how to bless, Say: The Lord bless you and keep you! The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you! The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace!"
Amazing concert last night with the nuns Daughters of St. Paul, "What joy Christmas is near." Today the Church Rejoices in words of St.Paul from today's reading Philippians 4:4-7, "Brothers and sisters: Rejoice in the LORD always. I shall say it again: Rejoice! Your kindness should be known to all, The Lord is near." Time to prepare for Jesus coming on Christmas, Simbamg Gabi (Philipino) Posadas (Spanish) and Christmas Novena prayers (All Catholics). Lets examine our consciences and go to confession this Advent and pray these nine days asking the Holy Spirit to give us the Christian virtues of Peace, Hope, Joy and Love.
Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Humanae Vitae at the Ontario Convention Center July 27-28, 2018.
Jesus, before ascending to heaven said to His disciples "go out into the whole world and proclaim the gospel." (Mark 16:15-20) Gospel is good news. We are to speak in truth against the culture of death that promotes abortion, assisted suicide and deceives to blindly believe what is bad as good and what is good as bad. Jesus is the light of the world, He is our head and we are His body, the Church. We as Catholics are light to help guide people out of darkess.
The Lord has risen from the dead, as he said, let us all exult and rejoice, for he reigns for all eternity, Alleluia.
Our King died to conquer death and sin. We now wait for His Glorious Resurrection. Mass at Nativity Catholic Church, tonight 7pm.

Today the Church Celebrates the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. May our families follow the model of Jesus family in unity to God and each other, and have love for one another that overcomes any trial, forgiving the offenses, having mercy as God has mercy on us and seek to live in peace everyday. Jesus, Mary and Joseph save souls.
Today pray to the Holy Innocents for all the children persecuted in the world and the victims of abortion.
Merry Christmas!
